New Year's Eve Gang + 10 kids

Way back in the day, before marriage and kids - we got together with 3 other couples on New Year's Eve. Through the years we've tried to keep up the tradition with across state travel and the addition of 10 kids to the mix. Needless to say - our festivities have changed quite a bit! This year "New Year's Eve" involved 2 mountain trips - one with and one without kids, an extremely sensitive smoke alarm, some surprise snow, Aunt Bea's and bowling. Ahh - good times!

Christmas in Goldsboro

The last stop on our Christmas extravaganza was in Goldsboro with my dad's family - Sutton Christmas #2. We all met at G&G's house the Saturday after Christmas and since we were all about done with "home cookin'" by then, we opted for Papa John's and ice cream sandwiches. YUM! It was perfect. The girls had a great time reading with Grandmama Ila Mae and having pillow fights with Grandaddy Bill (and making his teeth fall out - good times!). I had a great time visiting with my cousins I don't get to see nearly enough. And that would be my mom having a great time Indian Leg Wrestling (I know - so PC, right?) my Uncle Rick. Only 11 more months until we get to do it all again!

Angela is lame

So much for keeping up with this blog thing! And how is it that on the day I should have gotten nothing accomplished (Kate has a foul stomach virus and Anneliese is, well - she's Anneliese) I've managed to clean out not 1, but 3 separate closets and finally get around to this? Oh yeah, TV. Score 1 for TIVO and sick/crazy kids! I'll try to do better. Really.
(and here's a picture of me and blake - not as cute as the girls, but we do still actually exist. here's proof.)
